Mercer Island Indoor/Outdoor Sprint Triathlon

Get the triathlon season started with the Stroum JCC’s first annual indoor/outdoor sprint triathlon. An untraditional sprint distance, this triathlon will include a 10- minute swim, a 30-minute bike and a 20-minute run. This fun and supportive race is great for everyone from seasoned triathletes who want to test their training early in the season to beginners looking to try out their first triathlon. Yom Ha’atzmaut Flag Raising and Falafel Truck

9:40 a.m. Join Rabbi Jessica Yarkon and Cantor Bradlee Kurland of Herzl-Ner Tamid to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day). We’ll sing Israel’s national anthem, “HaTikvah,” and other Israeli songs and share prayers of gratitude. Participants will receive an Israeli flag.
