Herzl-Ner Tamid – Simchat Torah

October 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Following the 6:45 p.m. ma’ariv service, be part of the HNT Simchat Torah experience by carrying a Torah, dancing the hora or the kazatzky, clapping along, marching in a hakafa, waving a flag, singing ‘Hoshia na,’ and having a nosh or drink prepared by HNT’s most experienced bartenders.

At Herzl-Ner Tamid’s Torahthon, area rabbis, professors and teachers present topics of special personal and professional interest to a broad spectrum of learners. A wide range of courses are offered, focusing on identity/community, Israel studies, Jewish studies/history, other contemporary issues and text study. Funding for Torahthon 8 is made possible by a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle and historically by the Alfred & Tillie Shemanski Foundation. Torahthon 8 is co-hosted by Temple De Hirsch Sinai.

Sparks & Spuds: Chanukah at HNT

HNT Day of Service

This annual event is for all members of our community to fulfill the mitzvot of tikun olam and tzedakah. Volunteer projects range from community organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Birthday Dreams to synagogue-based programs preparing food for the homeless and beautifying our campus.
