The 9th of the Hebrew Month of Av, called Tisha B’Av, is a day of reflection on some of our saddest times in Jewish history. How do we mark this meaningfully with our young children? Join us at Temple De Hirsch Sinai in Bellevue as we explore one way. Rabbi Kate Speizer will lead us, and our kids, in an age-appropriate activity that turns our hearts and minds toward Jerusalem. Kids will be crafting and out on the playground, so wear play clothes. A sack lunch (even though it’s a fast day) is welcome. Questions and RSVPs to Kate, firstname.lastname@example.org or 206-315-6020.
