Eva Mozes Kor: Survival and Forgiveness

July 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

In partnership with The Hungarian American Association of Washington, we are honored to have Eva Mozes Kor share with us her incredible story. She is a survivor of the Holocaust who, with her twin sister Miriam, was subjected to human experimentation under Josef Mengele at Auschwitz. Both of her parents and two older sisters were killed at the camp; only she and Miriam survived. In 1995 she founded CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center to educate the public about eugenics, the Holocaust, and the power of forgiveness.
